I'd always used a box mix before, but I decided I wanted to make brownies from scratch. So I got a recipe & tried it. Not just powder & water, but butter, cocoa & sugar. And when I'd cooked it & slowly tasted that 1st gooey bite, I gotta tell ya: It was NOT worth the effort
