TatianaTMac Wage growth & job hunting. If you're working poor you consequently work overtime or multiple jobs which takes up so much time/energy you're prevented from pursuing a job with better pay.

TatianaTMac Almost anything involving time. Your 30 minute drive is actually a 90 minute bus ride with a connection. Your expected income is delayed a day or so? You don't have cash or cheap credit so you have to use payday loans.

TatianaTMac And for any purchase where quality and durability is costly but still cost effective, I'll refer to the Vimes boots theory of socioeconomic unfairness.
