  1. I discovered you can disable the Zoom mini-window (in Linux at least, probably others too) in the config file, which has drastically improved my experience. Edit ~/.config/zoomus.conf and change the value enableMiniWindow=true to enableMiniWindow=false.

  6. I don't know what the deal is but I've seen a marked increase in spam across all my channels the last month or so: Email, phone, SMS, LinkedIn, gDrive. It's driving me crazy. I'm almost afraid to turn my ham radio on.

  34. I get the whole Signal SMS thing but last year over 3B people used chat apps. Not sure having multiple chat apps is the barrier to entry it once was.
